I was employee 11 and the first marketing hire after they received their Series A funding. I reported directly to the CEO, Chad Halvorson. While there, I interviewed, hired, and managed a team of 5 including the Social Media Manager, Content Marketing Manager, Marketing Analyst, Rich Media Producer, and Marketing Graphic Designer.
As a team, we re-platformed the website from WordPress to Laravel and I was responsible for all of the SEO and teamed up on copywriting with the Content Marketing Manager.
I also managed the ads along with an ad agency that did so well, Facebook wrote a case study about us and recommended me on LinkedIn.
For the explainer video, I wrote the script and directed the production along with the CEO and the Rich Media Producer
I directed content strategy along with the Content Marketing Manager and we were able to grow the blog from about 20,000 to 100,000 visits a month within the first year.
